ADDITIONAL SERVICES FEE SCHEDULE
Effective 7/1/2010
Included in your monthly fee are feeding (oats and hay), shavings, and daily turnout. Below are rates that will be imposed for additional services. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Legends/Triple Crown Feeds billed at current retail price + delivery fee (split)
·
If your horse requires a diet of more than whole oats, please speak to
Kelley about a custom feeding program incorporating Legends or TC feeds. We carry feed supplied by Mars/Saxonburg
Agway.
Beet Pulp (per month) $20.00
· I will provide and prepare beet pulp on a daily basis for hard keepers who require a little extra bloom or horses with special dietary needs at your request.
Blanketing (per change) $2.00
·
Putting blanket
on and pulling blanket off are one change each.
We prefer not to handle blankets at all – please
dress your horse appropriately for the weather.
We suggest the following to minimize blanket changing and keep your
horse comfortable at the same time:
Turnout Sheet
Medium Weight Turnout Blanket
Heavy Weight Turnout OR blanket liner/fleece sheet
under Medium Weight.
We will not voluntarily put rain sheets / blankets
on for cold or rainy weather –each and every time you desire us to do so for
you must request it on your board.
Blanketing will only be done without your explicit consent if conditions
require it necessary (i.e. horse is too hot under blankets or soaked through
blankets and require changing).

Trailering: Subject to fuel prices and number of horses on the trailer. Please check with Kelley for a quote. $50.00 minimum per haul.
Trail Ride Lease (2 hour max) to approved riders only as schedule allows… check with Kelley if interested in having an experienced friend come out for a trail ride. $20.00
The services listed below apply only to boarders (as of 1/1/09) who are grandfathered in to a ‘partial’ board contract.
Stall Cleaning (per day) $3.50
·
This fee applies only to days that are planned in advance. 30 days notice must be given to switch to
full board, unless it is an extenuating circumstance (ie. Serious injury or
illness).
Stall Cleaning (late notice) $5.00
· This fee applies when I’m contacted the same day to clean stalls. We all have very busy lives; please understand that I’m very busy as well. If it becomes apparent that stalls are being skipped (more than 1 time a month is unacceptable), your stall will be cleaned for you and you will be billed
Shavings (per load) $1.00
· Shavings are included in the monthly board. We trust everyone to use reasonable amounts of shavings and conserve as much as possible. If it becomes apparent that you are using more than your share (comparatively to other boarders) or you are needlessly disposing of dry (although dark) sawdust, the “per load” charge will be imposed.
·
Anytime you
have elected the Per Day Stall Cleaning, please make certain there is
sufficient bedding for your horse while you are away. For extended periods, you may bank additional
shavings in the corners of your stall.
If we feel it is necessary to add shavings for you, the “per load”
charge will be imposed.
