Summer Camp

This summer, we will be offering public summer camps for beginner students ages 5 to 16, as well as an Intro to Jumping clinic.

During our beginner camps students will learn how to properly feed, tack and groom their horses. These activities complement the daily riding lesson which is designed to start and expand your child's equitation skills. Other non-riding time will be spent playing games, doing horse-related crafts and touring the farm to observe area amateurs and professionals preparing for shows.

The Intro to Jumping clinic will focus on improving the rider’s seat and leg, learning the half seat and two-point position, as well as other fundamentals for safe and correct jumping. Participants should be able to competently steer and ride in a group at walk, trot, and canter.

The camps run Tuesday through Friday, 9am-12:30pm.

Public camps will be held:

Pee Wee (Age 5-8)
Session 1 June 15 – June 18
Session 2 July 27 – July 30

Short Stirrup (Age 9-12)
Session 1 June 29 - July 2
Session 2 August 9 – August 12 (Monday to Thursday)

Long Stirrup (Age 13-16 )
Session 1 July 13 - July 16
Session 2 August 17 – August 20

Intro to Jumping (Ages 10 and up; for riders that can competently steer at walk, trot, and canter)
Session 1 June 22 – June 25
Session 2 August 24 – August 27

Each week of camp is $200. Family rates are available for siblings. All campers must bring their own paddock boots, helmet, and other riding items. Horses and tack will be provided for beginner camps. Intro to Jumping riders may bring their own horse, or use one of our horses or ponies. Snacks and bottled water will be available to campers each day.
